WHO I AM

CLAUDIO CERVETTO
I am a recently graduated Product Designer exploring the intersection between physical and digital design. My work spans industrial design, UX/UI, branding, and coding. I build end-to-end products, focusing on their logic, aesthetics, and technical development.

THE SPARKS
The spark that led me to Product Design was the promise of never being stuck in a purely analytical and repetitive process. I find my energy—my true state of flow and design-driven excitement—when I have the freedom to step outside established patterns to solve a problem. Shaping new products, whether physical or digital, makes me feel good. Knowing that my work has a purpose, that it solves a specific function or can simply improve the mood of those who use it, is my main motivation.
"WHAT COMES FROM WHAT"
Working across very different fields—from backend development to interior design to UX—my common thread has always been the act of creating in response to a concrete need. My approach is rooted in Bruno Munari’s method: I start by analyzing what already exists to identify its strengths and weaknesses. From there, I dive into user research to build a solid foundation for the project. I create personas, map journeys and systems, develop blueprints and user stories. Only when I fully understand the context do I move into prototyping, testing and validating ideas in the real world to understand what truly works.
THE BINGO MOMENT
If I had to choose my favorite moment in the process, it would be the one where, suddenly, you say: “Bingo!”. Often the first idea is not the final one, but it is the beginning of a chain of insights that leads you to the right direction. When the final idea starts to take shape, the excitement for execution skyrockets—you can’t wait to see what will come to life. The other great reward comes at the end: looking at the finished product and mentally retracing all the effort, testing, and reasoning behind it. It is an incredibly fulfilling feeling.
