Innovation in social interaction and mobility

CONCEPT
The **Toula project** stems from a vision of a sustainable Genoa in 2030, characterized by extensive pedestrian areas and a reduced road infrastructure. Developed as a concept car for smart mobility, the project explores new paradigms of urban transportation. It is a monovolume designed to reach a maximum speed of 50 km/h, conceived to promote inclusivity. The vehicle is integrated into a connected road ecosystem enabled by V2X sensors and inductive charging networks embedded in the infrastructure.
THE HOLOGRAM
The beating heart of the in-cabin experience is an advanced holographic interface, designed to break down physical and digital barriers between passengers. Designing this interaction required an empathetic approach, transforming complex technology into a natural social enabler. Through intuitive hand gestures, users can interact with the central hologram, seamlessly accessing three main modes that enrich the journey and bring people together: “City Guide,” “Karaoke,” and “Entertainment.”
This seamless experiential flow begins even before boarding, thanks to a mobile application designed to act as a trusted and inclusive travel companion. The digital ecosystem of Toulì offers a unique opportunity to choose one’s own company, allowing users to travel alone, with friends, or to open up to new connections by sharing their ride.

INNOVATION
Thanks to the integration of three-dimensional holograms and interactive content, passersby are literally immersed in an emotional journey that reveals the vast potential of autonomous mobility, skillfully combining innovation, technology, and sustainability.
