PHYSIS
iNTERIOR DESIGN
The essence of raw matter
The poetics of opposites
The contrast between hardness and softness

INTRODUCTION
“Physis,” a Greek term that elevates nature to a primordial force, is an interior installation conceived to celebrate the pure and uncontaminated energy of raw matter. The intention is to transform architectural space into a profound sensory experience. It is a return to origins that nourishes the soul, where each element is left free to express its powerful nature.
CONCEPT
The core of the concept lies in the passionate dialogue between seemingly opposing forces. On one side stands the hard, cold monumentality of the marble coffee table, a symbol of ancestral solidity; on the other, the warm and reassuring embrace of the armchairs and the softness of the carpet. This spatial narrative comes to life precisely in the friction between the uncompromising rigidity of stone and the enveloping softness of textiles.
To me, enhancing raw material means infusing a vital pulse into the environment. The sculptural veining of marble and the organic textures of yarns are fragments of nature that breathe. I have curated this material harmony so that the balance between hard and soft elements shapes a vibrant atmosphere, capable of evoking a deep sense of welcome and intimacy.

A PRIMORDIAL REFUGE
Physis represents my personal declaration of love for the authenticity of materials. The environment is transformed into an emotional refuge, a place where the rigor of stone and the warmth of textiles merge, inviting those who inhabit it to rediscover a pure and instinctive connection with their own spaces.
