A TEMPORARY DWELLING
Dynamica arises from an in-depth exploration of contemporary living, combining a passion for design with the need to overcome the constraints of small-scale spaces. In this micro-house project, I sought to challenge the static notion of the traditional dwelling. The aim is to infuse a pulsating soul into the environment, making it capable of evolving in synergy with human needs.
DWELING DYNAMISM
The beating heart of this vision lies in “Set Space,” a mobile, inhabitable system that encapsulates the very essence of dynamism. Through a system of elements sliding on telescopic tracks, the entire domestic ecosystem shifts configuration with extreme fluidity, offering within moments a kitchen, a sleeping area, or an enveloping bathroom. I focused on designing mechanisms that naturally respond to and support human gestures.
The material choices reflect a deep emotional connection to the authenticity and purity of nature. I prioritized the use of trowelled resin for floors and walls, creating a raw atmosphere that embraces the fascinating imperfections of craftsmanship. This rough materiality is counterbalanced by the warmth of oak wood, sourced from reclaimed fallen trees, to instil a profound respect for the earth.
TRUE GREATNESS
Dynamica represents the materialization of a dream in which interior architecture becomes a tool for personal freedom. The project is guided by the desire to restore dignity to life within small spaces, demonstrating that well-being is not measured in square meters.
