EPHEMERAL CONSUMERISM
The **aWear project** arises from a deep and pressing need: to counter the devastating impact of fast fashion and radically transform the way we perceive clothing. We live in an era dominated by the ephemeral, where garments are bought and discarded at an alarming pace, fueling an unsustainable cycle for our planet. I wanted to create a solution that was not only functional, but also capable of reaching people on an emotional level, inviting them to rediscover the true value of what they wear.
ECOSYSTEM AWEAR
At the core of this innovative ecosystem lies the concept of a true digital community wardrobe, accessible through a mobile application with an intuitive and welcoming design. Through this platform, users are no longer mere consumers but become active participants in a positive shift, able to exchange, lend, and donate their clothing. The interface, carefully crafted in every visual detail, transforms the exploration of garments into an empathetic, dynamic, and highly engaging experience.
To encourage and reward ethical choices, I integrated a virtuous loyalty system based on the accumulation of **aPoints**, which can be converted into an **aCard** to access exclusive sustainable experiences. Gamification, combined with challenges such as **aLeague**, fosters a unique sense of belonging. This philosophy also comes to life in the physical exhibition setup, where an immersive fitting room invites visitors to experience firsthand the emotion and deep value of shared clothing.
THE FUTURE OF TEXTILES
The ultimate goal of this design journey is to democratize ethical fashion, making it an accessible, desirable trend free from economic or social barriers for new generations. By carefully designing every aspect—from the complex service blueprint to the vibrant brand identity—I shaped a service that promotes conscious consumption without ever compromising aesthetics. aWear passionately demonstrates that sustainability is not a form of sacrifice, but a valuable opportunity to weave new connections.
